Hello my name is Henry and my wife’s name is Isabel and today is the start of our very own little project.. our son’s Picture Blog.
Today our son Gabriel turns 1 month old. In the past 4 1/2 weeks I have taken more pictures of him  than I have of anything else, like many first time parents do I suppose.. so I have decided to start a blog where I will post one picture of him daily. I just pitched the idea to my wife and she gave me a blank stare.  Being less than thrilled, she started asking me questions like how long would we do this for? or if we would have to write and post pictures everyday?..would we have time?..I told her it should not be that hard to snap a picture. We can just grab our cell phones and ‘snap!’. Still, she doubted my level of commitment and tagged it as ‘another one’ of my projects which, I admit, oftentimes get placed on hold or discarded. But this is one project I am very excited about and very committed to do. Besides, I have asked her to do it with me as a joint effort so I am confident one of us will be able to snap a picture and write once a day. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, we will just post a picture with a short caption, not much words are needed.. many pictures just speak for themselves.
We hope to be able to do this without missing a day for as long as we can, or until he is 18, or until he is old enough to decide if he wants to keep this web journal. At that point we wish he would be interested in doing the blog on his own and continue to write about himself or the things that interest him.
Some pictures will be posted by me and some by my wife Isabel.
As all things on the Web, the blog might evolve and you may notice different looks, themes, fonts etc, but hopefully the content will stay the same. We hope our family, friends, and anyone else whom may come across this blog, will enjoy the pictures and the journey. We thank you for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day 🙂

~ To our 1 month old son Gabriel, Mom & Dad love you very much!
